Great list, John. There certainly are a lot of folks publishing lists and comparisons and the like. We have tried to focus on what physicians and hospitals should do with respect to vendors, now that the final rules for both Meaningful Use and the Certification Criteria are out. You can find our posts at http://www.foxgrp.com/blogs/bid/47405/EMR-EHR-Meaningful-Use-Criteria-are-finalized-now-what, and at http://www.foxgrp.com/blogs/bid/47514/Certification-Criteria-Finding-the-Best-EHR-System. We hope they meet your definition of “good ones”!
Thanks for sharing Jim. I’m with you. It seems like we need to provide doctors the path forward. Most of them don’t really care about how we got to where we are.
The CCHIT response is up: {REMOVED Since the CCHIT seems to have been hacked and it’s now hosting Malware}
Michelle,
I tried the link and it said the site was unsafe. Looks like the CCHIT blog was hacked or something. I think I’ll remove the link for now so others don’t get it. Luckily, my browser warned me.
Here’s the 2 links from the post that matter:

Wow, that’s weird: I didn’t have anything show up earlier today when I briefly visited the site (I’ll run my antivirus again to make sure though). I should hope that CCHIT will fix that soon: don’t think infecting computers will help their image in this industry.
We have made a guide that could be useful as well.
